Media resources
The Texas A&M Natural Resources Institute (NRI) provides science-based research, education and policy support for natural resource conservation and private land stewardship. Media representatives and partners may use the resources below when developing news coverage, announcements and other materials featuring NRI and its work.

About NRI
The Texas A&M Natural Resources Institute advances the conservation and management of natural resources through interdisciplinary research, education, policy and partnerships.
Standard boilerplate
The Texas A&M Natural Resources Institute supports private land stewardship, military land sustainability and species conservation through interdisciplinary research, education, policy and partnerships. As part of Texas A&M AgriLife Research and the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, NRI works with landowners, natural resource professionals, government agencies, nonprofit organizations and other partners to develop science-based solutions to complex conservation challenges. Photography and other assets
Photos, maps, publications and other materials may be available to support media coverage and partner communications. Contact nri@tamu.edu with a description of the requested material and how it will be used.
Photo credits and other attribution provided with an asset must be retained. Materials may not be altered in a way that misrepresents NRI’s work, findings or partnerships.
Using the NRI logo
Download approved NRI logos for use in news coverage, partner announcements, presentations and other materials referencing the Institute. A few guidelines:
Maintain the logo’s original proportions.
Allow adequate clear space around the logo.
Use the version that provides sufficient contrast with the background.
Do not stretch, crop, recolor, rotate or add effects to the logo.
Do not place the logo over a visually busy image.
Do not use the NRI logo to imply endorsement of a product, organization or position.
For digital materials, use a PNG file. JPG files may be used when a transparent background is not needed. EPS files are recommended for professional printing and other applications requiring a scalable format.
Name and attribution
When referring to the Institute, use the organization’s full name on first reference: Texas A&M Natural Resources Institute. Use NRI on subsequent references. When appropriate, individuals affiliated with the Institute may be identified as researchers, faculty members, specialists or staff with the Texas A&M Natural Resources Institute.
The Institute is part of Texas A&M AgriLife Research and the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.

NRI researchers and specialists work in areas including private land stewardship, wildlife conservation, endangered species, land-use change, military land sustainability, geospatial analysis, conservation policy and human dimensions of natural resources.
